Dr Caroline Kamau-Mitchell is a Reader in Occupational Health at Birkbeck, University of London, and her research specialises on the wellbeing of doctors. Her research includes a randomized-controlled trial which shaped NICE guidelines, and interventions used in NHS hospitals. She has inspired Parliament to change laws, contributed to Government inquiries, and her research has been covered in major media such as the Guardian, Times and BBC. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, has published 2 books, is currently working on a third book, and has published in major journals such as the British Medical Journal and Nature.
The Medical Schools Council supports medical schools to train future doctors. They work collaboratively with medical schools to promote health and research innovation.
